It hit me this morning how....grown-up Damon has gotten. When Ric died, he didn't go and slaughter half the town or compel sorority girls to sex. He sat there, tears in his eyes, and with all his soul, appreciated the one man who never judged him at all. He sat there and watched his only true friend die. He sat there appreciating that even in the moments before death, someone like Ric saw fit to be his friend.
“When Barcelona reached the 1986 European Cup final, a 15-year-old ballboy raced on to the pitch and pleaded with Victor Muñoz, scorer of the decisive penalty against Gothenburg in the shootout, for his shirt. The ballboy was Guardiola. During one match against Madrid, he ran up to the referee and told him he was playing with the emotions of an entire nation—and he was not talking about Spain. When Andres Iniesta was a kid, there were two posters on his wall at La Masía: one was of Catherine Zeta Jones, the other was Pep Guardiola. Cesc Fabregas still treasures the signed Guardiola shirt he was given as a youth-team player at the club.”—Sid Lowe, Barcelona pressures gradually ate away at Pep Guardiola’s enjoyment (via agenthelpless)
Im gonna be honest here, I was sad when we lost el clasico and la liga, I was really sad when we lost the champions but I am heartbroken with pep’s goodbye because hey! there’s still a liga and there’s still a champions for us to win next year but there will never be a pep team again, no more puto amo, no more water bottless and skinny ties.
